Dear Fashionistas,

September has been a full month for The Fashionistas.

We are opening Fashion on Main at 1906 Main Street on September 22, 2006. Myra Walker will curate the inaugural exhibition, Flights of Fancy. We are currently raising funds to double the size of the gallery, at an estimated cost of $200,000-$300,000. The Fashionistas will launch a capital campaign to raise funds to expand the museum and add a resource center with our first gala fund-raiser in 2007.

It is now time for Dallas to have a place in which to celebrate fashion history, past and present. We invite you to be a part of that celebration.
